2017 Kia Sportage is set to become one of the most heavily loaded coupes in the compact utility vehicle category. It was recently revealed at LA Auto Show and it seems that the fourth-generation Sportage has been overhauled in order to improve chassis and suspension. Kia has also made significant improvements for better interior cabins and a lot of gadgets have been added for infotainment.
Interestingly, South Korean carmaker Kia has decided to manufacture the fourth generation Sportage from home turf for the North American market although other models like Sorento and Optima are built, designed and developed in North America itself.
Since 2006, Kia has been developing its car series under their chief engineer Peter Schreyer, the man who has been instrumental in designing Audi TT. The makers have gone far as saying that 2017 Kia Sportage will resemble a fighter jet.
